Where The Lord Wants Our Faith Level To Be.

God Speaks The End Results.

Romans 4:17 says that God " quickeneth the dead and called those things which be not as though they were. "Let's review some Bible scriptures to establish where the Lord wants our faith level to be. Romans 10:13 NLT reads, "For, everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." Romans 10:9 NLT says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." In another Bible passage, Luke 23:42-43 NLT, one of the criminals hanging on a cross next to Jesus's cross said, before he died, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." V43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Each of these scriptures is based on Faith as these are Faith statements. Faith comes by hearing Rom 10:17 NLT. The preceding scriptures are the level of Faith where the Lord wants our faith level to be! It's impossible to please Him without Faith. Hebrews 11:6 NLT. Charles Capps has an excellent article that expounds on this subject that is very good, I like reading his teachings on faith. Capps Ministry, here's the link.

Accepting Jesus As Lord and Savior Is Easy.

Based on the scriptures above, accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and being born again is easy, many come to the Lord this way. However, many don't because they don't understand, don't believe in Hell, don't believe in what the Bible says, need more information, aren't ready to surrender, want to put it off until later, are confused, or have numerous other reasons. Some accept Jesus and say a sinner's prayer only to backslide, falling away because Satan comes quickly to draw them back to him with the cares of this world. It could be they are confronted with a situation from their sinful lifestyle, falling deeper into the sins they are trying to escape because they are too weak to resist. Jesus gave an excellent parable about the sower and the seed that amplifies what I just wrote in Matthew 13:3-9 NLT.

Be a good seed and tell others about the love of God; glorify His name!

Jesus Knew People Needed More Info Too.

Recently someone said that the scriptures I shared in the first paragraph "were enough; you don't need any more than those to be saved." Here's what they have wrong: paragraph one above, "Where The Lord Wants Our Faith Level To Be," areas we mentioned are pointing to "Faith statements." In the ideal Christian world, all people's faith levels would be very high; that has not been the case throughout time. Jesus knew people needed more info, too; not everyone comes to the Lord right away; they need their faith level built up, questions answered, and salvation explained. Here's what Jesus said in Rom 10:14-17 NLT Vs14, "But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? V15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?" That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news! V16, but not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, Lord, who has believed our message? V17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ." We are sent to share the good news, to explain the plan of salvation in a very simple way in person or through this website.
