I Accepted Jesus - Now What?
I Have The Legal Right To Approach!
I accepted Jesus, so I now have the legal right to approach Father God with my prayer needs. Jesus said in John 14:6 NKJV it says, “No one can come to the Father except through me,” so begin your prayer like this, Father God; I come to you in the name of Jesus. Please show me what you want me to do next, and guide my footsteps. Thank you. Simple, right? We are following what the Bible says in John 14:6 NKJV it means, v6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Make a note of your answered prayers; you’ll be astounded!
Contrary to what people may say, He does have time to hear everything we say and ask. It may be as simple as needing a parking spot, making a house payment, or healing a relationship with your spouse. Know this; God will not bless sin or make someone read their Bible. He may convict someone to do something if it’s His will; otherwise, that would be white witchcraft. God loves you so much; He knows the exact number of hairs on your body!
Read Your Bible!

Begin reading the Bible in the book of John through the end of the Bible before you begin reading other Bible books. John has the most information about Jesus (God in the flesh) John 1:1to 14 NKJV life, His teachings, and what He did for us.
The Bible was dictated to various men from God; it’s like your instruction manual. The Old Testament has 39 books, and the New Testament consists of 27 books for a total of 66 books. The more you read, the more you’ll want of Jesus! You’ll develop a personal relationship with God, which other religions don’t have. It’s true; James 4:8 NKJV Bible says, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Press in; it’s the high you have been looking for, the presence of God in your life. No drug or alcohol can provide this, plus there is no hangover. So drink freely; it will change your life; it changed mine! If you don’t have a Bible, here are three different online Bible links you can use or download onto your device of choice. YouVersion onto your PC, tablet, or Phone here! Another is Bible Gateway, which allows parallel Bibles. The Blue Letter Bible is the third with most of the features the other bibles have. I love to use the parallel Bible, the red letter edition Bible.
Find A Bible Believing Church and Get Involved.
What church should I be looking for you might be asking yourself! Here are some possible things to consider.

1. Make sure they believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. If someone shows up on your doorstep, ask them if Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Some believe He was a prophet, a good man, son of God, but NOT God in the flesh. Ask that point-blank just as I have stated; I have experienced this exact scenario numerous times. Cult members are trained on what to say and respond to; you’ll expose the error with this method, their facial expressions generally will change, and their tone of voice usually drops when confronted with this question. This is a crucial point, and if not, end your conversation and keep looking.

2. The Mormons want you to take the book of Mormon and read it. They want you to read their book and see if it doesn’t give you a burning sensation in your chest to confirm that this is of God. Remember, Satan can do things like this; you don’t base a decision like this on feelings; you base it on the word of God. It’s not of God; tell them NO Thank you; this is not of God! These are wonderful misguided people caught up in a trap of Satan. Is there a cross on the steeple or the building? This might be a good indication of what is being taught inside the building. The cross is offensive to those on the way to Hell.

3. There could be a lot of activity at the Church; Is Jesus their main focus and getting closer to Him. Review some previous messages they may have on Facebook, YouTube, or their website. Some churches may be a social gathering, yes, you are not to neglect meeting with other believers, but the purpose of going to church is to be fed the word of God. If you’re unsure, review what you have learned with some Godly person, do an online review of the church, and see what others say. You’ll pick up some interesting things sometimes. Don’t get caught up in your emotions, be diligent in your search; reading your Bible will help you discern what I am saying here.

4. Is there a lot of emphasis on us, or look at what our faith has done? We are to have faith; we’re to live by it; beware, some make their faith into a God. The emphasis has to be on Jesus!

5. Pray for God to help you find the right church that He wants you to use Colossians 3:15 NLT; God will give you a check if it’s NO or peace if it’s a YES.
